Scott Mansion Farms Accessibility Statement

Scott Mansion Farms is a historic working farm, originally constructed between 1908 and 1912, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Monroe County, Tennessee. Due to the historic nature and terrain of our property, there are some barriers to accessibility.

General Accessibility Information

  • The farm features uneven ground and natural terrain, which may present challenges for those with mobility limitations.
  • Wildlife is present throughout the property.
  • Abner’s Retreat is all on one level, with walk-in showers, and 32-inch doorways meeting accessibility standards; however, there is one step to the entrance. Accommodations and common areas have hard surface flooring. A gravel parking area is located near the entrance.
  • For Events: a Gator is available to assist guests with mobility needs across the property.
